We also have another name to add to the mix : Billy Bob Thornton. While it’s been widely reported that Murphy will be reuniting with several cast members from the original trilogy in the new film, including Judge Reinhold, John Ashton, Paul Reiser and Bronson Pinchot, there’s also some new faces making their series debut this time around including Joseph Gordon Levitt, Kevin Bacon, Taylour Paige,James Preston Rogers, and Damien Diaz. We, however, won’t be revealing any spoilers – like most of you, we’ve been waiting for a new, solid Beverly Hills Cop movie for decades now and we sure don’t want to ruin the enjoyment of seeing Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) back on screen for anyone. With Beverly Hills Cop : Axel F currently test screening – in both theaters and for a select few testers who can screen it via the app at home – and Netflix weighing up their release strategy for the Mark Molloy-directed sequel, there’s bound to be quite a bit of information from those screenings leaking.
